For Math (LAS) , I would post copies of my lecture notes--for students who are absent--and any pertinent announcements. I would also tutor students via email on a day to day basis. They could type in questions and I would respond.
For students that missed class videos could be viewed. Field trips could be taped and viewed by other classes.
